PACLOCK’s KT2173/770 hockey puck and hasp kit includes a flat-back 2173 Series hardened steel hidden shackle rekeyable padlock w/ threaded mounting holes for direct mounting of the lock to hasp, a PL770 hasp, and (2) 1/4″-20 stainless steel mounting screws.
The 2173 hockey puck-style padlock offers superior security; is precision CNC machined in the USA for quality and dependability; and comes standard with a 6-pin bump and pick resistant rekeyable cylinder. The 2173 has a flat-back to fit shrouded hasps and tapped holes specifically designed to fit American Lock®’s A801 hasp and PACLOCK’s PL770, PL775, and PL801S 1/4” steel hasps — this allows the lock to stay connected to the hasp when opened.
The solid body 2173 is machined from hardened steel, electroless nickel plated for extreme toughness, and resistant to the environment. The 2173’s hidden shackle design protects your lock from direct access by bolt cutters and hacksaws. With only one moving part, the 2173 lacks the environmental vulnerabilities that traditional, shackled padlocks have. Even after years of exposure to the elements, this lock will still function.
The PL770 hasp increases both security and convenience when used with PACLOCK’s hidden shackle hockey puck-style locks. Made from 1/4″ thick steel and then zinc plated for extra weather resistance, the PL770 works with all 2-7/8” diameter flat-back hockey puck-style locks.
Used for high-security applications, the PL770’s hasp ears can be mounted either using carriage bolts or by directly welding to your application. The PL770 is the only hasp on the market to offer two hidden 5/16″ bolt holes protected by the padlock itself. The PL770 can also securely attach PACLOCK’s 2173, and 2177 series hockey puck-style locks to one side of the hasp so the lock stays affixed to the hasp when unlocked. Backplates are available for added stability.
